future projects
i have been thinking recently about projects i want to put out there for people to see, and i've realized that i should try to change my brain roadmap for what i've been creating.
before i dove off the deep end of learning blender, i made avatars for VRChat via kitbashing. i'm happy with how those turned out at the time but i would want to eventually return to them and remake them to a better quality.
and with me learning how to make models from scratch for animation, it has taught me that it is honestly easier for me to make things that fit my brain's mental image of it when i can make it from scratch. but the main issue i'd running into is i don't know how to optimize a model specifically for VRC. that is something i will have to learn.
right now i'm working on a project involving my dnd character and the party. i'm trying my best to adapt her to 3d but i think that i may change styles for a 3rd time to match closer to the original art. here is the art, made by the wonderful @cadencelewisart on instagram <3
but now roadmap ideas :D
- Finish Aina, her party, and the animation tied to her to learn how to model from scratch and make basic animation
- either work on my vrc model based on my chronicles of darkness character, or focus on making a robot puppy girl that would act as my online persona.
- whichever one i don't do above
- return to aina and her party and make another scene from the dnd campaign
